The focus was on finding solutions for a system that, originally designed to prevent tragedies like Surfside, has ended up hurting long-term condo owners, especially seniors on fixed incomes, with soaring reserve assessments. To be quite honest, if something isn’t done, many elderly residents could end up in an extremely tough spot.
